Welcome,

Hello! I’m Madison, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Clinical Counsellor. I meet clients in the Victoria area or virtually, making support flexible and convenient. As a cis-gendered, white woman (she/her), I am committed to creating an inclusive and safe space for all, where you feel seen and accompanied.

I provide empathetic support to individuals and caregivers and have a particular enthusiasm for group work. Guided by a mission to help clients align with their personal values, find tranquility, and embrace life fully, I believe deeply in each individual's inherent strengths and capabilities.

My approach is person-centered, attachment based, and trauma-informed, offering evidence-based strategies tailored to your unique needs and concerns. Let’s embark on this journey of self-discovery and growth together.

My Story

My journey with children and families began as a swimming and skiing instructor, where I discovered a passion for helping kids develop new skills and confidence. This led me to a career as a behaviour interventionist, working with children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). With a postgraduate degree in Autism Behavioural Sciences, I gained a deep understanding of the challenges faced by neurodiverse individuals.

Seeking to offer more comprehensive support, I pursued a Master's in Counselling. This allowed me to expand my skills and provide a broader range of therapeutic options. Now, as a mental health clinician, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and experiential frameworks into my practice.

Additionally, I completed yoga teacher training, which enriches my therapeutic approach with mindfulness and body awareness techniques. Outside of work, I love hiking and exploring nature, which informs my holistic approach to mental health. My diverse experiences enable me to offer empathetic, comprehensive support for growth and healing.

We are grateful to work, live, and play on the land of the traditional territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, known today as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations.
