Is it really necessary as a caregiver to join the program?

Caregiver participation is essential for the success of the PEERS programming. The research indicates that this is what makes the program successful.

PEERS for Adolescents meets the requirements for provincial funding (AFU). Final approval is completed on a case-by-case basis by the AFU.

All services are currently being offered online through Zoom conferences until further notice.

Do we need access to the internet?

As all services are currently offered online so access to a computer and/or smartphone with internet is required.

Do we have to attend all program sessions?

Teens must consistently attend sessions in order to participate in the program.

How are the groups formed when there is such a vast age difference?

Group placement is determined by the clinician at the intake appointment based on personality and group dynamics.
